“O God, have pity, for I am trusting you! I will hide beneath the shadow of Your wings until this storm is past. I will cry to the God of heaven who does such wonders for me. He will send down help from heaven to save me because of His love and His faithfulness…” Psalm 57:1-3a
I don’t know about you, but I am incredibly grateful to have such a personal God who is concerned for me. God has permitted me to walk through many challenging situations since I have come to know Him; however, He has always passed through it with me. It’s so amazing to experience His presence in the valley. I mean, you truly know you are going to make it through, although you have such a peace that even if you didn’t, you know you’ll be okay. When the world is shaking and there’s a whirlwind around you, when you have experienced betrayal, dip off the road and find God’s wing. He’ll cover you and see you through.
PRAYER: Lord, thank You for Your faithfulness and the heart that You have toward me and Your people. I am so grateful for Your love, mercy and consistency in my life. Always remind me there is room in Your shadow to cover me, in Jesus’ name I pray, amen. |
