“Don’t weary yourself trying to get rich. Why waste your time? For riches can disappear as though they had the wings of a bird!” Proverbs 23:4-5
Priorities, priorities, priorities! Nothing wrong with having some change, but it can’t have you. Some people spend so much time trying to make bank that they bypass all the things that are important. Cultivating our relationships with God and our people are a huge deal. Improving ourselves is a great thing. Financially working toward our future and being able to sow into God’s kingdom are amazing. We just need balance. Don’t get lost in chasing a dollar because it can be here one day and gone the next. Children don’t stay small forever, your parents aren’t always going to be here, you won’t always be able to physically do some of the things you can do now. Step back, take a breath, enjoy life, it’s a gift…
On what are you focusing?
PRAYER: Lord, I pray for the person reading this today that they will totally surrender to You and in that surrender, I pray they find great peace and balance in their lives. Bless them Lord, meet every need and guide them as they begin to prioritize. Give them wisdom, in Jesus’ name, amen. |
