“Listen to this wise advice, follow it closely, for it will do you good, and you can pass it on to others: Trust in the Lord.” Proverbs 22:17-19
I know, I know, you’re thinking – seriously. Simple as it seems, it is truly the best advice anyone could receive. We will always have hills and valleys throughout life and if we don’t know how to trust the Lord when we’re on top, we’ll never make it on the bottom. I like to encourage people to prepare themselves before a crisis because the Word states in Matthew 7:25 there will be storms and they will beat hard on our house. Whether our house stands or not is totally dependent on whether or not we have laid our foundation on trusting the Lord. God is faithful, we can fully rely on Him to be with us, to teach us amazing things, to provide for us and to take care of us. Build your relationship with Jesus in the calm and the trust will automatically rise up when the challenge comes.
PRAYER: Lord, thank You for reaching me and teaching me how to grow in relationship with You and those You have placed in my life. I am learning how to consistently trust You as I have seen Your faithfulness through the years. I am so grateful to be born-again and connected to You. Love You |
