“We try to live in such a way that no one will ever be offended or kept back from finding the Lord by the way we act so that no one can find fault with us and blame it on the Lord. In fact, in everything we do we try to show that we are true ministers of God.” II Corinthians 6:3-4
Okay my friend. Sometimes we get the mindset that we are independent people who are free to live as we please. Our heart should be that we are representing God and we have become slaves to righteousness. It is a choice we made when accepting Christ as our Lord. So, even though we can do what we want, our prayer needs to be “Make me pliable Lord so that I can bring You glory.”
PRAYER: Lord, give me a desire to do what is right and to think of others before myself. Make me a useful person and give me opportunities to share Your love and heart with others, always giving them my best. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen. |
