Ezekiel 20:1-49, Hebrews 9:11-28, Psalm 107:1-43, Proverbs 27:11
“Say thank You to the Lord for being so good, for always being so loving and kind. Has the Lord redeemed you? Then speak out! Tell others He has saved you from your enemies.” Psalm 107:1-2
The Psalm then goes through a number of scenarios where God has rescued people and the last verse asks us to consider the loving kindness of the Lord. Do you ever just sit there and, instead of focusing on all of the negative in the world, just count your blessings. It will turn your perspective and brighten your day. Anyone can choose to wallow in self-pity or fear, but we are children of the Light. We are encouraged to walk in the Light and to fellowship with one another; to build one another up. A way to encourage people is to tell your story. What has God done for you? How has He brought you through hardship? Those are valuable accountings that you just can’t keep to yourself.
PRAYER: Lord, I choose to focus on You and all the lessons and victories You have brought about in my life. Give me boldness to organically share these stories with others who may need to hear what You have done and can do. Love You so much and thank You for all the times You have taken care of me and mine. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
