“A man who refuses to admit his mistakes can never be successful. But if he confesses and forsakes them, he gets another chance.” Proverbs 28:13
Success as a human being looks humble, authentic and honest. Without developing these traits we’re being dishonest to ourselves. We’re putting on a mask for fear of our weaknesses being seen. It doesn’t come off strong, it comes off as arrogant and deceptive. Just own yourself and let the chips fall where they may.
PRAYER: Lord, I can never move forward in life until I make peace with my wrongs and deceptions. Help me to be brave and honest and to trust the outcome to You. I want to live the real me whatever that may look like because this mask is heavy and uncomfortable. Seeking Your face for grace. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
