“Lord, I am overflowing with Your blessings, just as You promised. Now teach me good judgment as well as knowledge. For Your laws are my guide. I used to wander off until You punished me; now I closely follow all You say. You are good and do only good; make me follow Your lead.” Psalm 119:65-68
Ha, I used to wander off myself. How about you. You guilty of wandering off occasionally. The Lord has a way of wrangling His sheep back into the fold doesn’t He, and man am I grateful. I have come to see His correction and boundaries are done out of love and a pure desire to see us progress in life. When we do what is best for us and those around us, the Lord honors it and we are blessed with peace and other promises.
PRAYER: Lord, my heart doesn’t want to stray. I want to live within the safety net You have placed around me. Give me a desire to do of Your good pleasure. Teach me Your ways so that I can be blessed and be a blessing to those around me. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
