“I don’t want your sacrifices – I want your love; I don’t want your offerings – I want you to know Me.” Hosea 6:6
Man…when I read that it broke my heart. Sounds like a relationship gone bad, with one party desperately wanting a fresh start and the other just offering tokens but no heart. God has emotions. He loves deep and desires to be known. He wants a true relationship with us. It’s so amazing if you think about it. This is the Grand Architect, Master Builder and Sustainer of the universe and He wants to have a personal relationship with YOU. Crazy, right?! What an honor.
PRAYER: Lord, thank You for extending Your hand of friendship to me. Help me to grasp the reality of this because it is truly mind blowing. I love and appreciate You so much. I want so much to know everything about You in a deeper way. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen
