Habakkuk 1:1-3:19, Revelation 9:1-21, Psalm 137:1-9, Proverbs 30:10
“Then the Lord answered me and said, ‘Write the vision and engrave it on [clay] tablets so that the one who reads it will run. For the vision is yet for the appointed [future] time. It hurries toward the goal [of fulfillment]; it will not fail. Even though it delays, wait [patiently] for it, because it will certainly come; it will not delay.’” Habakkuk 2:2-3
We will all walk through trials and tribulations. When we seek after God, His word to us is — be patient. “I have told you in Jeremiah 29:11 that I have good thoughts toward you. I have a plan for your life. Wait for it because it will come to pass and will not fail because My Word never returns void, it always accomplishes what I send it to do!” And you, my friend, can take that to the bank…
PRAYER: Lord, my heart feels overwhelmed by the status of the world. I’m scared, I feel unprepared and vulnerable. The only peace I have is when I seek after You. Help me to keep my eyes on You, the author and finisher of my faith. I am going to write down what You speak to my heart as a reminder that You are still with me. I am going to delve into Your written Word and hang on to Your promises. I love You and it’s in Your name I pray. Amen.
