Zechariah 8:1-23, Revelation 16:1-21, Psalm 144:1-15, Proverbs 30:29-31
“Bless the Lord who is my immovable Rock. He gives me strength and skill in battle. He is always kind and loving to me; He is my fortress, my tower of strength and safety, my deliverer. He stands before me as a shield. He subdues my people under me. O Lord, what is man that You even notice him? Why bother at all with the human race?” Psalm 144:1-3
My thoughts exactly. Sometimes I wonder if we’re more trouble than we’re worth. Not according to God though. He is absolutely in love with His creation. I marvel at the patience of the Lord. He is committed to His plan for mankind and His kingdom. He fully equips us for the life He has entrusted to us. No matter our ethnicity, culture, color of our skin, socioeconomic standing, etc. God knows us intimately and has laid a path for us to follow. He is our strength, our protector, our teacher…our friend.
PRAYER: Lord, I love You and thank You so much that You have not forgotten man. I appreciate how You have taught me to trust You through the years. I’m grateful for your continued mercy, grace and favor that has been poured out over my life. Even in the hardest and scariest of times, You have never left my side. I give You glory and honor. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
