Miracle Moment

Exodus 37:1-38:31; Matthew 28:1-20; Psalm 34:11-22; Proverbs 9:9-10

“Instruct a wise man and he will be wiser still; teach a righteous man and he will learn more. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” (Proverbs 9:9-10)

“From the creation of the world His invisible attributes, that is, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what He has made. As a result, people are without excuse. For though they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God or show gratitude. Instead, their thinking became nonsense, and their senseless minds were darkened.” (Romans 1:20-21)

“And this is the judgment, that the light is come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light, for their works were evil.” (John 3:19)

Psalm 14:14 states the fool has said in his heart that there is no God. It is the wise person who looks at creation and acknowledges there must be someone greater to have created the world, people, animals and all of the laws of nature that fuel the universe. Just think, the earth is exactly far enough away from the sun to keep us from burning up yet close enough to keep us from freezing. The air on this planet is just right to sustain life. The human body is the only machine that in many instances can repair itself. I cannot understand how a person could not believe in God with all of the apparent evidence. There is no way the organized world was brought about with all of its different species and systematic laws through a collision of disorganization.

Respect for the Lord is the beginning of wisdom but once we settle in our hearts that He exist, we must determine who exactly this Lord of Creation is. I propose Jesus Christ. We gain knowledge and understanding concerning life by getting to know Him. The Holy Bible has archaeological proof, historical accuracy and a logical conclusion. It makes sense. How can so many authors throughout such a period of history come together and form a book from 66 smaller books that completely flows together to reveal the plan of God for humanity. Most people who absolutely deny the Lord of Creation are those who would prefer to stay in their darkness. They have no desire to change or to acknowledge and yield to someone greater than themselves. Open yourself up, don’t stay stuck.

PRAYER:

Lord, in all humility I ask You to open the eyes of my understanding. Teach me Your ways, give me a desire to know You and to do Your will. I want to know truth and to have the ability to share what I learn. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
