“Bless me with life so that I can continue to obey You. Open my eyes to see wonderful things in Your Word. I am but a pilgrim here on earth; how I need a map – and Your commands are my chart and guide. I long for Your instructions more than I can tell.” Psalm 119:17-20
The Word of God has been such a crucial element in my success as a person. I’m so grateful for the Lord giving us all that we need to answer every question we could possibly have. The Word is our compass. The Word reveals God’s truth and our truth. It teaches us how to navigate this world because once we are born-again, we are truly pilgrims just passing through. This world is not our home. Our thought processes change, our desires change, we’re new creations. You can’t understand it till it happens to you. I look forward to going home when my time comes, but until that time, I want to use His Word to bring Him glory and to help as many folks as I can find their way.
PRAYER: Lord, I appreciate that You have given us a path to follow. Thank You for not leaving us out here alone with no clear direction. You are the Master Architect, the brilliant Scientist, the most amazing Engineer and I salute You for how You are bringing all things together. Love You –
