I Kings 2:1-3:2, Acts 5:1-42, Psalm 125:1-5, Proverbs 16:25
“And more and more believers were added to the Lord, crowds both of men and women. Sick people were brought out into the streets on beds and mats so that at least Peter’s shadow would fall across some of them as he went by! And crowds came in from the Jerusalem suburbs, bringing their sick folk and those possessed by demons and every one of them was healed. The High Priest and his relatives and friends among the Sadducees reacted with violent jealousy and arrested the apostles and put them in the public jail.” Acts 5:14-18
Sometimes there is a price to pay for souls. When revival breaks out there will be many religious and political people who will seek to shut down the true believers. Every convert, every healed person, every person clothed in their right mind will testify loudly that Jesus is Lord and the saints are true followers. Prepare your heart should that day come in your life. Be strong and courageous, the Lord is with you. This world is not our home.
PRAYER: Lord, I pray to be true to You and the purpose You have placed on my life. I ask You to pour out Your Spirit on this world and break the power of darkness. Save, sanctify and fill all with Your Holy Spirit. Help us to be strong and to stay true. Grant unto us a word in due season for every situation. In Jesus’ name, amen.
