I Kings 14:1-15:24, Acts 10:1-23, Psalm 133:1-3, Proverbs 17:7-8
“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down on the collar of his robe. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore.” Psalm 133:1-3
So much more peaceful and productive to work together as a team without competition or overriding one another. There is no need to be jealous, hurt or angry. Just like there is a function for every part of the natural body, the Lord has a specific place for each of us and every position is important and vital for the expansion of the Gospel and the welfare of His people. We are all one in Christ and if we want the blessing and favor of God, we must live in the place called THERE. There is where blessing and life are.
PRAYER: Father, I pray unity and agreement over the Body of Christ. I pray that we will join together as one and fulfill the call You have for us. May Your peace, joy and prosperity follow us all the days of our lives as a witness to those who need You. Help us to share Your Good News and extend Your grace, mercy and forgiveness, in Jesus’ name, amen.
