“Discipline your son in his early years while there is hope. If you don’t, you will ruin his life.” Proverbs 19:18
Contrary to popular belief, parents are still the most important guidance a child can receive. Don’t be afraid to direct your child in the path that is right. And there is a right path, one that knows the Lord, understands how to treat people and how to conduct themselves. These are just a few important values that children need to learn and it is our responsibility as parents to instill these good morals and principles. Children who are given boundaries feel safer, are better behaved and generally turn out to be more solid people. Remember, use different methods of discipline depending on what area needs to be corrected. Never use corporal punishment in anger.
PRAYER: Lord, I am praying for all parents, grandparents, teachers and guardians. I ask You to give each one of them wisdom on the best way to guide and correct the children in their lives according to the child’s temperament. We need Your help more than ever Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
