Ezra 3:1-4:23, I Corinthians 2:6-3:4, Psalm 28:1-9, Proverbs 20:24-25
“But the man who isn’t a Christian can’t understand and can’t accept these thoughts from God, which the Holy Spirit teaches us. They sound foolish to him because only those who have the Holy Spirit within them can understand what the Holy Spirit means. Others just can’t take it in. But the spiritual man has insight into everything and that bothers and baffles the man of the world who can’t understand Him at all. How could he? For certainly he has never been one to know the Lord’s thoughts or to discuss them with Him, or to move the hands of God by prayer. But strange as it seems, we Christians actually do have within us a portion of the very thoughts and mind of Christ.” I Corinthians 2:14-16
To a person who does not know Christ, that scripture probably sounds pretty arrogant. However, if you are born-again, you totally get it. You believe God is personal and knowable. You believe He actually desires to reach through dimensions to speak and be known to people. Sir, ma’am, if you have not had the privilege of knowing God on a personal level, I want you to understand that He is more real than the sun shining on a good day. He is more real than your favorite person. He is the creator of all things and He truly wants you to discover Him. He will speak to your heart and reveal Himself and His truth to you if you will just open up and ask. If you are born-again, then you know that what I am saying is true and I encourage you to never stop pursuing your relationship with God.
PRAYER: Lord, we ask that You save and draw unto Yourself all the people who don’t know You. Be real to them and be real to us. We love You Lord, in Jesus’ name.
