“Turn from all known sin and spend your time in doing good. Try to live in peace with everyone; work hard at it. For the eyes of the Lord are intently watching all who live good lives, and He gives attention when they cry to Him… The Lord is close to those whose hearts are breaking; He rescues those who are humbly sorry for their sins. The good man does not escape all troubles – he has them too. But the Lord helps him in each and every one.” Psalm 34:14-15,18-19
Good tips if you want to touch the Lord’s heart and if you want to live a good life. These are obvious things that we should pursue, common sense, right?! Get away from things you know aren’t right, invest your time in helping others. Work diligently to pursue peace and know that when you are walking through deep waters, the Lord is for you and He is with you.
PRAYER: Lord, teach me Your ways. Help me to have a generous, peaceful heart and to live a simple, good life. My eyes are always on You Jesus. My heart does safely trust in You. When the storms of life come, I know that You are my firm foundation; You are my rock. It’s in Your name I pray, amen.
