“A man who strays from home is like a bird that wanders from its nest.” Proverbs 27:8
If a bird strays from its nest there is exposure to danger and the very real possibility of losing their nest. If a person takes their home and their people for granted, their straying could potentially steal everything dear to them. Stay in your own nest, there is nothing out there worth jeopardizing what you have. Work to improve your life through personal growth in Christ if you aren’t satisfied.
PRAYER: Lord, help me to be content in my situation. Teach me the things that I need to change and help me to adjust to the things that are from You. Give me that desire to love deep both the situations and people You have given to me. Keep me single-eyed and focused. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
