Ezekiel 3:16-6:14, Hebrews 4:1-16, Psalm 104:24-35, Proverbs 26:27
“There before me lies the mighty ocean, teeming with life of every kind, both great and small. And look! See the ships! And over there, the whale You made to play in the sea. Every one of these depends on You to give them their daily food. You supply it, and they gather it. You open wide Your hand to feed them, and they are satisfied with all Your bountiful provision.” Psalm 104:25-28
God provides but we have to shine and grind! God gives to the birds of the air but it still has to dig the worm. God offers favor and opportunity and He expects us to get up and go after it. Human beings have a bad habit of becoming spoiled and feeling entitled when everything is handed to us. Don’t shirk work, get in there and enjoy it, do it all as unto the Lord. Joy and satisfaction come from a job well done. Learn to challenge yourself; find ways to be a blessing and you will find yourself content in all you do.
PRAYER: Lord, thank You for all the breaks You give to me. Teach me to recognize and appreciate my blessings. Help me to enjoy my work and to experience much growth in my spirit through it. Love You and I am purposing to do all that I put my hand to for Your glory. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
