“Do everything you can to help Zenas the lawyer and Apollos with their trip; see that they are given everything they need. For our people must learn to help all who need assistance, that their lives will be fruitful.” Titus 3:13-14
Fulfillment through service to others, what a concept. It truly is amazing when we give up some of our time, energy or finances to aid another person or organization; something supernatural occurs within our spirit. I mean, have you ever been to an outreach or function and all of sudden noticed they were short-handed so you started pitching in? I know I have and I gave it all I had and went home exhausted and feeling accomplished because I came through for something bigger than myself. If you’ve never put yourself out there in any way maybe it’s time. The Lord needs you and people need you.
PRAYER: Lord, help me to override my selfishness and small thinking so I can be there for those who are in need. Lead me by Your Spirit. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
