Jeremiah 14:11-16:15, I Thessalonians 2:9-3:13, Psalm 80:1-19, Proverbs 25:1-5
“It is God’s privilege to conceal things, and the king’s privilege to discover and invent. You cannot understand the height of heaven, the size of earth, or all that goes on in the king’s mind.” Proverbs 25:2-3
I believe God has shrouded mysteries for us to uncover. It is His pleasure to step back and allow us to pursue our curiosities. It is the desire of man to study and find the answers to the universe. Even with all our advancements in technology it is still hard to grasp the enormity of the world in which we live; just lay back and stare up on a starry night.
PRAYER: Lord, I appreciate that You allow us to pursue knowledge and put two and two together. There’s no challenge when everything is handed to us, and You have carefully designed us to need exploration. Even though I wish that some things would come easier, I do appreciate Your wisdom and plan. I thank You the most for giving us a heart to seek You out and for unveiling Your many facets. In Jesus’ name, amen.
