“I will be his father and he shall be my son. If he sins, I will use other nations to punish him, but my love and kindness shall not leave him as I took it from Saul, your predecessor. Your family shall rule my kingdom forever.” II Samuel 7:14-16
“…that is why I have been bold enough to pray this prayer of acceptance. For You are indeed God, and Your words are truth; and You have promised me these good things – so do as You have promised! Bless me and my family forever! May our dynasty continue on and on before You; for You, Lord God, have promised it.” II Samuel 7:27b-29
PRAYER: Lord, I am learning the promises in Your Word and I pray a prayer of acceptance. I choose to receive good from Your hand. I thank You for being such a generous, kind-hearted being. I know that when You make a statement it is truth and I can build my life upon it. I have security in You. Jesus thank You for saying that You will never leave nor forsake me. I trust in You and the promises You have given Your people. You are not a man that You should lie. In Jesus’ name, amen.
