Miracle Moment

November 10, 2024
Judges 9:22-10:18; Luke 24:13-53; Psalm 100:1-5; Proverbs 14:11-12

“Shout triumphantly to the Lord, all the earth. Serve the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs. Acknowledge that the Lord is God. He made us, and we are His – His people, the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the Lord is good, and His love is eternal; His faithfulness endures through all generations.” (Psalm 100:1-5)

Got any problems going on in your life? This psalm is an excellent formula for victory. Let’s break it down and make it plain. Line one, we have to recognize that we are in a war, a spiritual battle if you will, that frequently spills into our physical world. That being said, the first thing we see is that we are to shout triumphantly. The word shout here is the same word that was used at the battle of Jericho. You remember when God told them to shout and the walls would fall. Yep, same word that implies a war cry. So we have to recognize that we are in a war, then we have to sound the shout of victory with our war cry.

Once we have done this, our next step is to understand our relationship to our Savior. We are to recognize and accept that our Lord is the true God and we are His. Because of our relationship, we are loved and taken care of. No matter what we face we have all of heaven backing us. When we get this in our hearts then we are able to confidently move to the next step. I say this because we must know that we know God is real and that He is for us.

We are to maintain an attitude of gratitude coupled with sincere praise. Amazing how that warfare thing works huh. We set our hearts to understand the greatness of our Lord and to develop a relationship with our God and simply worship and love on Him and out of the abundance of our friendship things begin to fall into place as He hands us the victory.

PRAYER:

I love You Lord. I pray to develop a deep abiding relationship with You. I want to have confidence in You and Your Word and in our friendship. Give me a desire to know You and to serve You with a grateful heart. I will win the battle in the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
