| Deuteronomy 31:1-32:27; Luke 12:8-34; Psalm 78:32-55; Proverbs 12:21-23
“Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord your God, He it is that does go with you. He will not fail you, nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6
This was God’s promise to His chosen people (Israel) who had a covenant with Him. God has given us great privileges and promises in His covenant. Just look at everything He tells us in this one verse alone. He says to be strong, courageous, not to fear, nor be afraid. We are to trust Him. Don’t worry about your enemies because He will go with you. He will not fail you because He is God and He cannot fail. He will never leave nor forsake you. Everything is going to work out.
I don’t know what you’re up against or what mountains you must overcome and conquer, but the Lord says that the battle is His. He’s got your back. He’s given you His Word and promise. Stand still and you will see the salvation of the Lord.
PRAYER:
Lord thanks for Your love and power. I will be strong and of good courage. I will trust You with my life and every obstacle I must face. I know You will see me through. I know that everything is going to be alright. I give You glory, honor and praise in the name of Jesus I pray. Amen. |
