Miracle Moment

“The Lord is my light and my salvation – of whom should I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life – of whom should I be afraid? When evildoers came against me to devour my flesh, my foes and my enemies stumbled and fell. Though an army deploy against me, my heart is not afraid; though war break out against me, still I am confident.

I have asked one thing from the Lord; it is what I desire: to dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, gazing on the beauty of the Lord and seeking Him in His temple. For He will conceal me in His shelter in the day of adversity; He will hide me under the cover of His tent; He will set me high on a rock.” (Psalm 27:1-5)

“Now concerning the resurrection of the dead, haven’t you read what was spoken to you by God: I am the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob? He is not the God of the dead, but of the living.” (Matthew 22:31-32)

Live in peace. Keep your eyes on Jesus. God is for us and there is no reason to be afraid. IF we are yielded then any path He takes us down will be according to His design. He will either protect us through it, use it to build our character and to further His purposes, or take us home. No matter how it goes down, it’s all good because even if we perish from this world, our God is a God of the living not the dead. I said, for a Christian, death is not the worst thing that could happen, amen! We’re just going home…

PRAYER:

Lord, help us to not get so hung up on this world that we are afraid to let it go. Drive into our hearts that eternity with You is real, substantial and forever. Eternity is our focus, not this temporal life. Be with us, strengthen us, encourage us, forgive us Lord. I command all fear to loose me, I am a child of God and my steps are ordered of the Lord. I have nothing to fear because my God is a life giver, not a death monger. No matter where I am, I will live and not die to declare the works of the Lord. I am Yours, I am in Your hands. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
