In early 2002, God instructed Ricky and Jeannie Sinclair to pioneer a church in St. Francisville, Louisiana. "Church of the Felicianas" began as a prayer group with 12 people in a living room and was soon moved into a conference room of the St. Francisville Hotel where it grew to approximately 250 people. As it became evident that a larger facility would be needed, through much prayer and fasting, God provided a miraculous beginning! Church of the Felicianas was blessed with an entire strip mall in Baker, Louisiana just four miles from the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport. Once in Baker, Church of the Felicianas' name was officially changed to Miracle Place Church!
The first service was held on October 5, 2003. Since then MPC has grown to approximately 1000 people! Our facility has a coffee shop that encourages fellowship, with an atmosphere of comfort to build new relationships. Miracle Place Street has a "theme park atmosphere" and houses a state-of-the-art youth sanctuary, pre-k classes and a loving, safe nursery called Kingdom Kids.
